This week, our focus is gratitude. Not only for the big things, but for the everyday blessings we may overlook:
• Access to clean drinking water (globally, only 74% of people do)
• Electricity and warmth (92% of people globally have electricity at home, but this number doesn’t include unhoused folks)
• The ability to read and learn (if you are reading this you are part of 86% of the world over the age of 15 who have that privelege)
• Breath in your lungs and a body that moves
Gratitude, at its root, has to include actionable respect. It’s not just a written bullet point list (and you all know I love lists), this week, we invite you to show that gratitude in action by tending to what sustains you: your breath, your health, our waterways, and the land beneath our feet.
