Truthfulness in Satya

Dear Samsara & Gentle Place Community,

Greetings from Springfield, Missouri! (More on that at the bottom of this email)

November brings a new theme to explore: Satya, the yogic principle of truthfulness. In yoga, Satya invites us to live in alignment with truth not only in words and actions, but also in our relationship to ourselves. Practicing Satya means listening inward with honesty, clarity, and compassion.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga for a Cause – Warrior Within Yoga Project

On Saturday, November 15th at 11amSamela’s regularly scheduled Kripalu Yoga Class becomes a donation-based, all-levels class in support of the Warrior Within Yoga Project. This local 501(c)(3) brings accessible, trauma-informed yoga to veterans and first responders across Massachusetts.

All proceeds from this special class support their “Bend Don’t Break” campaign, connecting more veterans and service members to the healing benefits of yoga. You can also donate directly without having to attend class at  https://givebutter.com/benddontbreak2025/samsara-yoga-2025

Alongside this powerful community effort, we’re also offering two November workshops to support your health, creativity, and connection.
