Marathon Monday: Meditation for Compassion.

Not everyone can run a marathon, but EVERYONE can meditate….no prior meditation experience needed!
In this 90 minute meditation workshop you will be guided by meditation teacher Lisa Campbell to a place of peace and calm. You will learn how to shift your attention and awareness to the present moment, reduce stress and anxiety,and find deep relaxation and improved resilience.
In addition to experiencing the benefits of meditation in your life, you can also feel good knowing that your participation will help others who have been victims of trauma to also find inner peace.
ALL PROCEEDS from this workshop will be donated to the One Fund Center at MGH, which continues to help those impacted by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing learn the skills to regain control and build resilience through a variety of mind-body principles and self-care interventions that have been found to reduce the distress caused by stressful events, injuries, and tinnitus.
