Need a Vacation? Try some Biomat® Bliss

During these cold winter months, sometimes our body needs a vacation… it yearns to be surrounded by warmth, penetrating deep into our muscles, softening us to the core.

A trip to a Caribbean beach would be nice, but if that’s not in your schedule, we have something that just might do the trick:  Come to The Gentle Place for a 30 minute BioMat Bliss Day mini-vacation!

What’s a Biomat?   It’s an innovation in biotechnology using 17 different layers and more than 28lbs of amethyst crystals, to generate far infrared rays which are then transferred to the body as heat. Designed by NASA engineers, scientists and medical engineers, the BioMat combines three healing components: Far Infrared Rays, Negative Ions, and Amethyst Therapies, for a deep body, mind, and spiritual healing experience.

What is Bliss Out with Biomat® Day?  It’s a chance for you to come to The Gentle Place and experience the pure bliss of deep relaxation on the Biomat.  Take 30  minutes to experience the deep healing, relaxation and wellness benefits of this amazing technology!

You lie on a comfortable padded massage table, fully clothed, on top of the Biomat®. You have a pillow and blankets to be comfortable. Generally, music is played to help you relax, unless you prefer silence. Some clients like to meditate, others allow their mind to wander wherever it may go, and others nap.
